Tryptic Soy Broth (TSB) w/ Tween 80

26-657, Tryptic Soy Broth w/ 2% Tween 80; pH 7.3 ± 0.2: Also known as Trypticase or Soybean-Casein Digest (TSB), Tryptic Soy Broth is a general purpose medium for the cultivation of fastidious and non-fastidious microorganisms, including common aerobic, facultative and anaerobic bacteria and fungi. Adding Tween, and/or lecithin, neutralizes disinfectants like quaternary ammonium compounds, allowing for accurate detection of surviving microbes. These neutralizers support diverse bacteria, yeasts, and molds from samples that might have been exposed to cleaning agents. MOLTOX® does not provide microorganisms for testing.
