Oxoid™ Nutrient Agar No. 2 Plates (6-Well)

21-40S304.10, Oxoid™ Nutrient Agar No. 2 is explicitly prepared with VBE and Oxoid™ Nutrient Broth No. 2, specified by Maron & Ames, Mutat. Res. 113: 173, 1983. These plates are used for general growth and CFU determinations of Ames S. typhimurium and E. coli WP2 strains in the Ames assay. MOLTOX® prepared media and media components are specifically formulated for use in bacterial mutagenicity assays. Minimal Glucose agars, top agars, master plates, nutrient broth and phenotype confirmation media are prepared with various formulations for specialized laboratory needs. For Research Use Only
