Nutrient Broth
Nutrient Broth is used for the cultivation of various nonfastidious microorganisms. The formulations which include Oxoid Nutrient Broth No. 2 are primarily used in the Ames assay as specified by Maron & Ames, Mutat. Res. 113: 173, 1983 for culture of S. typhimurium. Also used for culture of E. coli WP2.
