Bismuth Sulfite Agar

Bismuth Sulfite Agar is a highly selective medium used for the isolation of Salmonella species, particularly Salmonella typhi in various types of samples including food, water and sewage. This product is not autoclaved in order to maintain its selective properties. This product is also light sensitive and must be protected from light.
